These are Marabou Storks. They should be the country's bird. They feed on trash and are GROSS looking!! They're HUGE tooo! So naturally, they LOVED the dump!!! And there were SO many of them! It's quite amazing!!!
People pick trash at the dump. There are 140 registered trash pickers at this landfill. They sort the different materials and then sell them (for pretty little) to buyers.
