Some pictures from the other day....

Hi All,

Here are some pics from last Thursday. The first is of the Baganda Parliament. It's a cultural government for the Buganda People. We got a little tour of it and it was very cool. The next one is of the Kasubi Tombs. They are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The big hut-esque building was the Kabaka (king's) house. Our tour guide asked us if we were from America. When we said yes, he said, "You have the White House." We nodded. Then he pointed toward the huge structure and simply said, "Brown House." Perfect.

Before we could go in, the women had to wrap fabric around our waists to make skirts. We took a group shot of our style-ish Baganda fashion!!
